These first few weeks of our adventures have flown by and it all started with out extended connection in the UAE.

Our very first flight was at 9am from Heathrow landing in a city I never thought I would go to – Abu Dhabi – at 8.10pm. We decided to just get a taxi to out air B&B, which ended up being a good choice as taxis out there are cheap compared to the rest of the public transport. Once we had arrived we couldn’t stop staring at the gate towers at night and we were excited to see the views from the 58th floor of Gate Tower 2. Our host, Thomas was very nice and helped us download an app to order late night spicy Italian pizza and chicken dippers before organising our activities and passing out.
