This morning we dared to rent a surfboard. Having been in the waves yesterday and seeing the lessons that were going on we went for it. Ignoring the surf shop owner telling us he had someone bring a surf board back already we got one to share. Josh was very happy as he had bought a rash surf vest and was very keen on trying it out.

No matter how hard we tried the currents were just too strong. We’d be on the board ready to catch the wave and next thing you knew is your meters away and completely sideways. We were forced to give it up and I didn’t feel safe and didn’t even like Josh being out it that current. It rained anyway so we couldn’t do much except give the board back and head back to our hostel ready for our coach.
