The lodge allowed us to rent surfboards for free and so we grabbed two to try the waves at the Main beach.

These were both hard boards of which we’d never tried before so we’re excited to test them. Here however, they were too big and too crashy so we walked the boardwalk to little cove. Here the rolling waves were better and our surfing skill increased a lot but, I still didn’t stand up until we went back to Main Beach.
