Checking out of the hostel, leaving our bags behind, we headed to Sealife. Two days of zoo life for Josh was unheard of but, I was making the most of it.

It was a very small zoo and we saw Blue Penguins (Australia’s only Penguin), a Fur seal and Sealion show to demonstrate their power in and out the water. I loved this and wanted to be one of those volunteers joining in. I didn’t get picked though but, a lady was. During the demonstration she got knocked into the water by the Sealion who pretended to be a shark around her and took off her shorts. This volunteer however, turned out to be one of the Keepers – sneaky.

After we finished at the aquarium we caught the bus and headed further up the East Coast to Noosa.

Once at Noosa Nomads (where it was raining) we got dressed up ready to have dinner and drinks in the bar – unlimited free drinks at a certain time. Before we tried to catch an early nights sleep we got our stuff packed and ready for our Fraser Island trip tomorrow morning. I can’t wait!
