26th March
I woke up to a lovely breakfast in bed and then I smashed Josh in a game of chess before we went to chill at the beach. The waves were calmer today so we bought our skim ball and promptly nearly lost it.
Afterwards we decided to explore to the right of the beach along the rocks discovering new little spaces.

I found my perfect meditation rock looking out towards the ocean.

On first arriving our hostle host has banged on about going to the headland for sunset so we hired the two granny bikes he had and followed his advise.

Joshs brakes didn’t work very well which was fun seeing him whizz down the hills screaming and laughing. 30 mins later we still weren’t at the headland however, we came across a cute beach.

Taking our bikes down the steps we sat drinking our beers, watching the sunset and listening to the waves.

Getting dark now we started to head home as we had to get the greyhound onto our next stop. This was the most insane, slightly tipsy, night time bike ride ever.

The milky way was the clearest I’ve ever seen but it was also the scariest ride as we couldn’t see anything.

Getting back we grabbed our stuff for the bus and headed onto Airlie Beach.
